Independence

We do not accept payment for rankings or recommendations. Sponsored guides and videos exist, are clearly labelled, and are written with the same honesty as everything else: if something is not worth booking, we say so, sponsor or not. Hotels, tour operators and rental companies cannot buy a place in a guide. Where we have a commercial relationship with a company mentioned in an article, it is disclosed on the page.

First-hand research

Guides are based on our own trips and on verifiable current information. Where we have not personally done something, we say so rather than pretend. We do not invent reviews, ratings or testimonials, and we do not use fake scarcity or countdown timers anywhere on the site.

Accuracy and updates

Every article displays a last-updated date. Prices, timetables and rules in Albania change often; we review high-traffic guides at least once a season and correct errors as soon as they are reported. Some prices are marked as approximate for exactly this reason. If you find something wrong, tell us.

Affiliate links and advertising

We use affiliate links and may display advertising. Our rule is simple: the reader's question comes first, the best answer second, a helpful recommendation third, and an affiliate link last and only when it genuinely helps. We never create content around an affiliate offer. See the affiliate disclosure.

AI and writing

Our guides are written and edited by people. We may use software tools for research, drafting and translation, but every published fact, price and recommendation is checked by a human who has been there.

Photography

We use our own photographs or properly licensed images with credit. We do not use AI-generated images to represent real places.
